Student Accounts: Saving on the Server
When students have logged in to the computer using their unique student ID # and password, they have the ability to save their work to later access from any computer on campus. This allows students to complete or print finished work in another classroom (i.e. Media Center). However, they CANNOT just click "save" when closing a document. They must select SAVE AS then, after clicking on "computer" (or "this PC") they need to select their own student account file. Typically they will see their name, but in a few cases, it will be their student ID number. They must FIRST click on their account, then they can save the file. This will allow them to have access no matter what computer they log in to on campus.
Student Access to Online Reading Assessments
If students are ready to take a quiz after reading a book (extra credit, language arts, 3rd period novel, or pleasure reading), they can take an AR quiz. Students can take quizzes anytime from 9:00am-4:30pm, on any computer. Their student ID is their username, and password is "student." They should be logged into WebNet and can then access AR through the tile (one of their Applications, along with many of their textbooks and other online resources)
